What is Office 365?

Microsoft's Office 365 is a subscription based service providing access to both online and offline versions of their office programs and services. There are a number of versions providing access for home users, small business and larger businesses and organizations.

Can I use AuthSMTP with Office 365?

Yes - our service can be used with any email program that supports SMTP authentication - we have setup guides below for the email programs and applications that are included with Office 365 and support SMTP authentication.

Is there any Office 365 programs that do not work with AuthSMTP?

The online version of Outlook provided with Office 365 ( https://outlook.office365.com ) does not support using a third party SMTP server so unfortunately cannot be used with AuthSMTP.

The online version of Microsoft Exchange ( https://login.microsoftonline.com ) does not support SMTP send connectors using a username / password authenticated SMTP Smart Host. We are currently reviewing options that would allow us to support SMTP connectors in Exchange Online.

The Outlook.com & Hotmail.com webmail applications do not support using third party authenticated SMTP servers.
